It consists of a Java file and does not require any special installation after the download. The tool automatically groups the selenium kernel and injects it into the browser. However, you will need to correctly install the java environment and the execution path to be able to execute it successively from the console. It is recommended to confirm that Java is correctly installed by running the java-version command on your console. The response after running the version control must be 1.5 or later, which means that you can start with the tester.

Selenium Web Driver

Two functions are common in Webdriver and Selenium RC. Both allow the use of the programming language in the creation of test scripts. And secondly, they allow the user to run the tests on different web browsers. The difference between RC and WD is in architecture and speed. For architecture, the WD architecture is simple compared to the Selenium RC architecture. And at speed, WD is faster than Selenium RC because it has the ability to control the navigation engine directly, while Selenium RC uses JavaScript to control the browser.

There are two types of hold in the Webdriver, that is, implicit waiting and explicit waiting. Implicit waiting is used to provide a default timeout between each consecutive test. While explicit wait stops execution until a specific condition is met.
